A tray that carries more than objects
Woven by hand in Vietnam from wild-harvested rattan — each strand selected, split, and woven by one person. The pattern isn't printed or stamped. It's in the weave itself. That slight asymmetry? That's the maker's hand.
Use it for morning tea. For bringing bread to the table. For holding nothing at all except the feeling of having chosen something made slowly.

- Natural rattan darkens and gains character with use
Hand-woven by Vietnamese artisans. Each tray is unique in weave pattern and tone.
Flexible, lightweight, surprisingly strong. The rattan develops a warm patina with use — it earns its character the same way you do.
The Maker
A rattan weaving workshop in Guangxi that has been making baskets and trays for local markets for decades. They recently started working with outside designers — but the weaving technique hasn't changed.
The Place
Guangxi / Vietnam border region. The rattan grows wild in the subtropical forests. Harvested by hand, dried in the sun, then woven while still flexible. The climate does most of the preparation work.
The Craft
Natural rattan, handwoven in a spiral pattern over a rattan frame. No nails, no glue — the tension of the weave holds everything together. The edges are wrapped with thinner rattan strands for a clean finish. Light enough to carry one-handed, strong enough to hold a teapot and four cups.
At Home
Morning coffee to the bedroom. Tea service to the living room. Breakfast to the balcony. It's a tray — but one that makes the carrying feel intentional rather than logistical.
