A small thing that changes a room
It weighs almost nothing — 33 grams of silk, thread, and intention. But hang it somewhere light touches the fabric, and suddenly that corner has a pulse. The embroidery is done by hand on each piece. The tassel sways if you open a door too fast.
Each pattern carries a meaning: osmanthus for autumn memory, bamboo for resilience, peony for quiet abundance. Pick the one that speaks to where you'll put it.

Smaller than your palm, more stitches than you can count. Inside: dried lavender. Outside: a thousand years of Suzhou embroidery tradition.
The Maker
A Suzhou embroidery studio that makes these sachets between larger commissions. The embroiderers say the sachets are their favorite work — small enough to finish in a day, detailed enough to stay interesting.
The Place
Suzhou, Jiangsu. Where silk thread is split into strands thinner than hair and stitched into scenes that look painted from a distance. The lavender comes from a farm in Xinjiang — the best in China.
The Craft
Silk satin, hand-embroidered in Su style with traditional floral and auspicious motifs. Each sachet is filled with dried lavender and sewn shut by hand. The tassel is twisted silk floss. The jade bead is genuine — a small green stone on a red cord, meant to bring calm.
At Home
In a wardrobe to scent clothes. Hanging from a car mirror. On a doorknob. Tucked inside a pillowcase for better sleep. At this price, buy two — one to keep, one to give.
