The Maker

Three artisans, three workshops. The Jian Zhan cup comes from Master Zhang's hillside kiln in Nanping. The celadon canister from Master Chen's studio in Longquan. The incense holder from a painting studio in Jingdezhen. None of them know each other. Their work fits together anyway.

The Craft

Jian Zhan oil-spot glaze, born in a 1,300°C reduction kiln. Longquan celadon, 1,600 years of crackle-glaze tradition. Hand-painted underglaze peony, permanent from the moment of firing. Each piece carries the signature of its maker — not a logo, but a way of working that can't be replicated.
